Giveaway: YoPlus Light Gift Pack
By · Oct 09Thank you all for entering. This contest is now closed. The winner is comment #47, Camie.

I am a big fan of YoPlus Yogurt, I think it tastes great and YoPlus is very generous with their coupons which means it is usually the yogurt I can get for the best price.
A few weeks ago I was excited to see that at my local Safeway the YoPlus Light was cheaper than the regular YoPlus so I decided to give it a try. I was a little unsure about the only flavor that my Safeway offered, Honey Vanilla, it just wasn’t sure how those two flavors would taste together. I was very pleasantly surprised. To me it tastes a bit like the flavor of McDonald’s Fruit & Yogurt Parfaits which I love!
YoPlus Light is available in 3 flavors: Honey Vanilla, Strawberry Banana and Key Lime Pie (I really wish my stores carried this flavor!). Each yogurt has only 70 calories and provides 3 grams of dietary fiber. I really like to have it at night for dessert with some Multi-Grain Cheerios on top. Yummy!
At my Safeway, YoPlus Light is priced at $2.25 for a 4 pack. You can get a $1.00 off printable coupon here or here and you can also get a $1.00 off ecoupon to load straight onto your Safeway card here.
What are you entering to win?
Thanks to MyBlogSpark, I have a YoPlus Light gift pack to give away so one lucky reader can try YoPlus Light for free. The gift pack includes:
- A cute sports bag (mine looks much cuter in person)
- A sports towel
- Ear buds
- 2 coupons for a free package of YoPlus Light (Note, these free coupons can not be redeemed in Nevada, Louisiana and North Dakota)
How do you enter to win?
Leave a comment here on this post letting me know what your favorite light dessert is. I am a pretty healthy eater, but dessert is my weakness. Tell me what you eat at night to get rid of the sugar cravings. If you don’t have a favorite light dessert, than tell me which flavor of YoPlus Light you would most like to try. I will draw one random winner on Monday, October12th at 1:00 PST.
This contest is open to U.S. residents only.
Disclaimer: I was not compensated for this review in any way besides being given a YoPlus gift pack from the people at MyBlogSpark. The opinions regarding YoPlus Light are mine.

My favorite sweet treat is a home-made smoothie. We buy frozen strawberries and OJ and add whatever fruit we have on hand. It’s also a good way to use older and bruised fruit, just cutting away the bruised parts.

Strawberry Banana…most definitely. I have been getting these pretty cheap at Kroger and was impressed at how good they are.
Love your website… check it daily (sometimes twice) so thank you for all that you do to keep us informed.

I really do want to try the light honey vanilla YoPlus
October 9th, 2009 at 10:31 am
For a quick fix when I am craving something sweet, I always keep a bar of dark chocolate around. Usually just a tiny square will satisfy me and I am pretty sure the antioxidents offset all calories making it practically a health food
October 9th, 2009 at 10:39 am
For me, eating an apple with a little cinnamon and sugar on it takes care of a sweet craving right away!
October 9th, 2009 at 10:50 am
Just tried Yo-plus this week thanks to the wonderful deal at safeway.
For sweet cravings ..a scoop of ice cream with fresh fruits.
October 9th, 2009 at 11:06 am
When I am craving something sweet instead of ice cream I’ll have lower calorie sorbet or italian ice. I also like fruit salad or just a piece of fruit. If I HAVE to have chocolate I’ll get some low cal hot cocoa.
October 9th, 2009 at 11:10 am
I love fresh strawberries with a healthy dallop of fat free cool whip on top.
October 9th, 2009 at 11:19 am

October 9th, 2009 at 11:40 am
I love putting frozen berries in a bowl and putting a dollop of light whipped topping on the top. It satisfies my need for frozen treats, the fruit has natural sugars, and it’s actually pretty good for you!
October 9th, 2009 at 11:42 am
My wife loves to eat Skinny Cow ice cream products. They taste like real ice cream, but they only have like 100 calories. She had a personal trainer for awhile, and he’d even let her eat those.
October 9th, 2009 at 11:43 am
I love getting jell-o sugarfree pudding and mixing fat free cool whip in. Yummo!
October 9th, 2009 at 12:11 pm
Smoothies with any fresh +/or frozen fruit and I add a yogurt and juice. Usually makes enough for the family. the yogurt makes it nice and creamy. I also sometimes have a small bowl of my kids cereal which might not be so healthy!
October 9th, 2009 at 12:40 pm
We pop popcorn on the stove in a pan with olive oil to control sugar cravings. Real popcorn is full of nutrients and popped in olive oil (no butter) is SOOO good.
October 9th, 2009 at 12:41 pm

Really not organic or healthy but mmmmmm I love tasting all of that man made sugar…AwEsOmE!!!

I just had an orange creamsicle. Not necessarily the healthiest option, but not the worst either. My idea to add is that I try to brush my teeth after dinner to help change my mindset away from eating. Otherwise I am thinking about food all night long!

You have mentioned that you frequent Costco…My favorite snack that is “healthy” are the Fudge Healthy Choice ice cream bars. They were only 100 Calories each and I think on Weight Watchers my friend told me they were between 0 – 1 point depending on which calculator she used. They also come out in their Costco coupon book fairly regularly so I try to stock up then.
October 9th, 2009 at 8:13 pm
Frozen Blueberries are delicious.
October 9th, 2009 at 8:13 pm

October 9th, 2009 at 8:50 pm

October 9th, 2009 at 9:15 pm
Desserts are my weakness too – what a coincidence!
I am currently following weight watchers so eating yogurt daily is part of my attack plan. When I need something good, which means “chocolate”, I either have a ff jello cup or I make a light almond pound cake and slice it up (and freeze some) which is SO good and filling! I can drizzle w/ ff sf chocolate syrup for an added bonus. Thanks for the giveaway
October 9th, 2009 at 11:25 pm
I actually love orange sherbet. My grandmother was a weight watchers member for years, and sherbet was the one treat she gave me,so as an adult I still love it,and the memories it evokes.

Lowfat Brownies for sure. I am a chocoholic and I eat half the pan by myself. Since this kind of cancels out the lowfatness, I still feel a LITTLE better knowing that, I got to eat half the pan instead of one high fat brownie. MMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I am addicted to sweets! Lately, when my toddler sees me pour a glass of milk, he automatically says, “Cookies!” That’s how I knew I had a problem. So I’m trying to tone it down a little bit and have switched to graham crackers and milk Ü
P.S. Thanks for the great tip on how to score some cheap yogurt at Safeway!
